Lauren Glickman, MA, the Principal Consultant and founder of FORAY, has over
10 years of experience as a trainer, coach and educator. She has been a consultant
to dozens of organizations across Washington State, dozens of individuals
nation-wide and varied organizations as far as Nicaragua and Hong Kong helping
individuals, leaders and groups meet their goals by building their skill sets
and their capacity to use those skills.
Lauren has been an activist in many ways for many years. Lauren spent two
years working with farmers as a Peace Corps Volunteer in rural Nicaragua and
understands change in the face of cultural dynamics, tradition and custom.
She spent five years as the Volunteer Program Manager at the PAWS Wildlife
Center and understands the nature of volunteer-dependent work cultures as
well as the field of animal welfare. Lauren has worked side by side with many
animal lovers, environmentalists and other mission-driven people, and has
found that her strength lies in facilitating group process, problem solving
and conflict resolution within a group of passionate, committed and internally-motivated
people. She holds the belief that people are happiest when they are provided
with the opportunity to make a difference for something about which they care.
Lauren has a BA in Geography from Clark University and an MA in Applied Behavioral
Science from the Leadership Institute of Seattle and Bastyr University.
